SOTIRAQ BRATKO
Actor of the theater "A. Z. Cajupi" - Korce and the Albanian Cinema
Born in Korca on December 8, 1951. He is a well-known actor in the theatrical genre (especially with the troupe "A. Z. Cajupi" – Korca where he was born) as well as in the Cinema. He has over 70 roles in theater and 18 in feature films, being among the prominent actors of Korça. After graduating from the Institute of Arts, in 1973, Sotiraq was assigned to Fier to defend his diploma. Here he plays the role of Myrteza Cape in the drama "Heronjte e Linasit / Heroes of Linas". Then they named him in Korça, where he plays in a drama by Namik Dokles, "Era e lartesive / The Wind of Heights".
20 years on stage in activity until 1993 when emigrates for a family affair to Thessaloniki, Greece. His acting was distinguished for the truthfulness and sincerity of the direct character of the action. The many roles that he embody on the stage of the Theater "A.Z Cajupi" in Korca were independent figures who stood out for the character found and their qualities. He starts in the movie of 1973 "Brazdat" in the role of Skender and onwards builds some characters that remain accomplished in the history of Albanian cinema, such as that in "Liri a vdekje" / Latif Ages, or Kujtimi in "Gezhoja e vjeter / Old cartridge " role with which he wins The medallion of the IV Albanian Film Festival. Other characters include Jani in "Shoket / Friends" (1982) and especially Max in "Rrethimi i vogel" (1986); He returns to the stage in May 2014 after 21 years working with a role in the drama "Kapitulli I dyte / The Second Chapter" by Neil Simon under the direction of Qëndrim Rijani.
