BUJAR KOKONOZI

Cameraman, operator. "Merited Artist"

Born in Tirana on December 19, 1948, where he graduated from the general and technical school in the field of construction. His passion for art and photography led him to start working for the Albanian Radio and Television in 1971. He quickly acquired the mastery of the operator, starting initially in this position with the shooting in the studio. His first TV documentary outside the studio was "Heroes of Vig (Heronjte e Vigut)" which did not appear for the censorship made by the authorities of the time. He continued to record various shows for children, reportage, concerts, dramas, etc. in which he was distinguished for his artistic mastery and professional level of the camera, becoming one of the most successful television operators. He also shot feature films in which the high level of photography and composition stood out, for which in 1991 he was awarded the honorary title of "Merited Artist".

Among the films we can mention: "E fshehta e nje nate" (1978) / "Gjyshi partizan" (1978) / "Agimet e stines se madhe" (1981), a 5-series film which was honored with a special diploma in Albanian Film Festival - 1983, while the operator himself received an award for the components. Other TV and telecomedy films: "Friends of a Team (Shoke te nje skuadre)" (1984) / "Chronicle of Those Years (Kronike e atyre viteve" (1986) / "The Reconstruction (Rikonstruksioni)" (1988) / "The Mining Engineer (Inxhinieri i minieres)" (1988) / "I Love Era (Une e dua Eren)" ( 1990) / "The Lost Revolver (Pistoleta e humbur)" (1995). Later he made documentaries "Between fame and fatality (Ne mes fames dhe fatalitetit) " (1992) / "Escape (Arratisja)" (1885) / "Beyond the sounds (Pertej tingujve)" (1996) / "Kadri Roshi in the fable (K. Roshi ne fabula" (1998) / "Albanians (Shqiptaret)" (1999).
