Ermira Lefort - Zyrakja is a great Albanian artist, but in another field of art.

She was born on December 15, 1964. At a young age, 6 years old, she started studying piano and graduated professionally at the age of 23 at the Academy of Arts in Tirana. Ermira has studied piano for more than 16 years and currently lives for more than 20 years in Geneva, Switzerland, where she alternates her professional activity with concerts, teaching and participating in many cultural activities of the Albanian community in Switzerland, while she has given concerts in USA, England, France, Ireland, Greece, Cyprus etc.

In 1987 she starred as an actress in the only film in the Kinostudio "Shqiperia e Re" entitled "Eja" in the role of a student, in a touching event, growing up in an orphanage, where one day while she had gone to doing the internship in a small town comes in contact with her real mother. So Ermira Zyrakja is more of a famous pianist than a cinema actress. On piano (with 2 pianists together) she produced and recorded the first CD with piano music entitled "OUR MUSIC". Pianist Ermira Zyrakja with tenor Kastriot Tusha during a presentation in Arau, Switzerland at the age of 14, in 1978 won the first prize in the National Competition of young talents.

In parallel with her studies, she has given solo concerts with various violinist instrumentalists, wind instruments and opera singers. After leaving Albania, during the transition she started as a piano teacher in Ioannina at the Greek-Dutch conservatory "THCAKA-LOF". There she won the Dutch piano competition and won postgraduate scholarships to perfect her self at the ROTTERDAM conservatory. Since 1992, she lives in Geneva.
